I went to watch Mummy 3: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor today! I actually went to One Utama with Amal today to celebrate my birthday, but that story will be saved for another post. =) Anyway! I’ve visited a couple of blog, especially Jason Smashpop’s. He rated it 0. And like totally… erm. Dislike it. hahah =P

But I beg to differ. Fine, I do agree that, compared to the last two series, this one’s plot is really *ahem* despicable not-so-up-to-standard. But I still find the scenes cute! Especially those cute ferocious Yeti-Yeti and the quite wonderful CG effects.

The Mummy

Jet Li as The Dragon Emperor, and his five elements,

and the Dragon itself. Hideous looking.

You know what is the funniest scene? When Jet Li was transforming into the dragon the first time in the fountain. SO FUNNY. It was super cartoonish. I was so speechless. One more opinion, he should have just transformed into the dragon to fight Rick and Alex instead of that stupid weird looking beast.

Overall, rated: 5/10 - 2 for the CG effect, 1 for Michelle Yeoh speaking mandarin, 1 for the terracota vs skeletons scene, and 1 for Ling/Lin cuz she’s pretty.

So Advertlets surprised me as I checked my email and found out there is a movie screening for Wall-E!! I have been wanting to watch this movie ever since I knew of its existence actually. So now I’m gonna try my best! =P

The reason I want to watch Wall-E?

Well, lets date back to a time where we go for a movies and spend 10 minutes (or more) watching trailers and advertisements before the movie begins. When I first saw Wall-E on screen during one of the advertisements, my first exclamation was, “SO CUTE!!”. Especially the part where he found the box of diamond, and then he threw away the diamond! (and I can’t stop saying that’s SO CUTE). So as I watch on, I found out it was the no-piracy thingy! And then it hit me. When a voice came from the advertisement “Waaaall…Eeeeee”, I just went like “I wanna watch this movie I wanna watch this movie, it’s SooooOoOoOooOOO Cuteeeee~” to my friends. The whole cuteness of the character is just awesomifixated!! =D

‘Sides, I loved “Finding Nemo”. I liked the story, the plot, the characters… and the cuteness *XD*. Wall-E, being from the same creators, I do believe it’s gonna be real nice, as well. I do hope Wall-E’s a good production, since I had seen its promotion since forever, sorta kinda. And I really have to agree, Wall-E IS the most lovable robot ever! =P (as of now, since I have not watched the movie =P) and that makes it the more reason I wanna watch Wall-E! =)

One main fact about Wall-E is that it is AN ANIMATION! *applause, claps, whistles, screams* I love animation, even better if they are CUTE! So yeah, Wall-E’s an animation and he is cute. How can I ever resist something that good. Hahaha~ =P And the screening’s on August 11th! One day before my birthday! If I can watch it then it would be awesomifixated! =P

So lets hope and wish upon the mighty-stars-that-Wall-E-cleans-up, that I get to watch it next next week. =D *grins with mouth open wide* =P
