This time. It will be different. Nuffnang and Nokia brought us this: Silent Halloween!
As the name implies, this Halloween party will be “more or less” “Silent”.The party will be conducted through handphones and headsets that is loaded with musics and songs! Only invited people get these, and for people who know me, this is why this post exist-lah~! =D
What more, it is also a social event for Bloggers of Nuffnang (and their friends) to meet new people and make new friends! Whoa, for the weirdest reason, I’m beginning to imagine myself enjoying the party. But that is not the point. I’m actually posting this to tell you guys.. WHYNokiaXpress Music had made Halloween better.
Firstly, MUSIC. Well, due to the fact that I have not been to ANY Halloween events before, I shall say how NokiaXpress Music enhance my first experience. Music is like a must for my life. I sing and I dance (for people who know me, you should know~). So yeah, it surely will enhance my first (sorta)Halloween Party, more so I’m really a party-animal, I gethigh on good musics. =P

Secondly, it kinda enhances my identity. Well, imagine if I dress up as something red…. like a bloody……..er….thing. And I’m holding a red Nokia. I can imagine ppl thinking, “Whoa….. so red” Hahaha =P But really, it will be another matching item for my dressup! So, its the “cool” factor-lah.. in a way.. XD
What’s third? A SILENT HALLOWEEN. Hello?Who organized this event? Nokia. What is the item of the event?NokiaXpress Music. Holy-moo, that TOTALLY super-duperly definite that it will enhance my first Halloween experience. I mean, yo! I get to go to a cool event with a bunch of cool crowd and I stand chances to win COOL phones wei. Need I say more? =P *wink*

Last but not least, outstandingness. I mean, look, Nokia XpressMusic’s theCOOL Factor, while, I am the CUTE/HANDSOME/FASCINATING Factor. The addition/multiplication/combination of the 2 factors? OUTSTANDING. Come on. I know you agree. =P
So! It is finally Phase V, and as some might have known, this is the final phase for the Famine 2008 posts (finally!). The last phase I ended at nearing the end of the 30th hour! So, we all were like damn anticipating, and we opened up our koko-crunch packet and uncapping the bottle caps of the Vsoy drink. The two items are the light meal presented to us for our “break fast” session. But wait, I have to tell you something. Do you recall the emcee called Richard, all the way back in Phase I of the Famine posts? He is SOMETHING. He took off NUMEROUS bottlecaps (those like beer bottles’)with his TEETH. I mean, OMG. Yong used the metal part that was supporting our chair to remove the cap (thanks Yong!!! ^^). Richard was like DAMN cool….er….sort of. LOLX.
Anyway, it was already 4 pm, all our stomach’s growling and all, but the countdown have not started yet! We waited and waited… and it was 4.10pm.. and still NO SIGN of countdown, we couldn’t wait. So we had our own breakfast…. then… suddenly, at around 4.12pm, the countdown just began ABRUPTLY and then everybody, sort of, cheered again. Oh well! We DID lasted for 30 hours and 10 minutes (or MORE). But, it was a job welldone! I was enjoying the satisfaction that I have lasted another 30 hours of fasting! I LOVE that feeling of satisfaction and achievement. ^^ So after that, we chatted a while and I met another new friend, Lip Chong. Lolx. He is the Emcee Manager for the emcees I think. Hahaha, but anyway, we were then all headed towards the buses that brought us there. On the way back, I took some pictures! =P
I played Big-2 together with Mei Hwei! And got to know Charmaine from… I forgot. LOLX!
And Charmaine actually said I’m famous.. o.O.. thanks ^^

And then after, I went to eat KFC with PeiSan, Ian, Suzanne and Shu Ling. OMG. Food had never tasted so good before (except for after last year’s Famine). And I realized, I ACTUALLY had KFC last year as well. OMG. oh well, next year I will try to eat something different. ^^ Before I head home, I even ate McFlurry Cornetto Chocolate! SO NICE! ^^ A side note would be, I think people were rather amused at the sight of my facial painting… =P So there you have it, the wonderful 5 phases of 30-Hour Famine year 2008. If you had realize, this is the first post (about the Famine) that DOESN’T have a picture of Marcus! Mwahahaha =P
Actually, I wanted to make an extra Phase about Marcus cuz he was really entertaining and he spammed my chatbox superbly that night. But Oh well, I am lazy and kinda tired to make another Famine post. XD So there you have it, all 5 phases are done!

Guys and girls who enjoy Hong Kong drama, here comes a new one! It is one of the latest TVB drama, known as Speech of Silence, or Tian Yan Mi Yu (甜言蜜语). The drama itself is pretty nice to watch, and the actors an actresses are pretty good as well. A more detailed synopsis and review will be after the pictures. Synopsis:
When TONG TONG (Kate Tsui) was still a small child. She loses loses part of her hearing in an explosion, managing to save her foster father and siblings a while ago. Although she has a hearing disability, she still has an extremely positive attitude towards life, and knows how to take good care of others. With the support of her mentor KO MING, TONG becomes a voice over talent by utilizing her lip reading ability and she meets another voice talent LEUNG KAI YIN (Kenneth Ma) who also has keen interest in the industry. YIN is fond of the leading voice actress YUEN SIU NA (Claire Yiu) and he asks TONG to be his matchmaker. TONG suffers from a lack of confidence to exhibit her love to YIN so she prefers to help achieve his wish.
YIN and TONG soon become the famous couple of the industry and their career grows swiftly. However, TONG’s younger sister CHAI KA YEE (Elaine Yiu) suddenly commits suicide after losing her love. In order to rescue YEE, TONG loses her hearing completely. YEE is deeply ashamed for causing the tragedy and CHEUNG YAU (Chris Lai) consoles her whole-heartedly. After the trauma, TONG abandons herself completely and she hides away from everybody including YIN. During the time, MING’s voice over team suddenly breaks up and YIN is the only person staying behind. MING is helpless and he urges TONG to return.

Review:
Personally, I like the show. =P The drama is really cool, I mean, I watched 10 episodes already, and it is really a good drama. I love Kate Tsui’s acting. Its not VERY good, but I like it because it is special. Kenneth Ma is not handsome, I know, but he isn’t that bad in acting. It is pretty good as well. Kenneth and Kate don’t make the best pair, but hey, they are doing pretty well in this drama! The other actors and actresses are kinda cool, too. But I absolutely hate Chris Lai’s character in the show, makes me kinda angry, cause the character’s so stupid. Watch it and you’ll know what I mean.
Casts aside, the plot is pretty cool! I’ve seen a few drama talking about blindness, but one with deaf, I really can’t remember much drama depicting that. Besides, the main occupation in this drama is Voice-Over. That’s just so COOL! I mean, COME ON, how many shows actually uses voice-over actors/actresses as the main occupation of the show? Man, I learn quite a lot of stuffs from this show. From deaf people, to voice-over & sound effect jobs, and how people cope with not being able to hear. I mean, yeah, its not the REAL thing, but we DO SEE SOMETHING from the show. Really.
Theme Song:
The next good thing about the movie is its Opening. The Opening is called Intuition (直觉). It is sang by Lydia Sum’s Daughter, Yan Yi. Her voice is quite good you know. I really like the song. The lyrics are pretty good as well. Hands up to Yan Yi. I LOVE the song. So now I’m going to share with you the video, the song and the lyrics.
