In my last post I mentioned about some Korea-ASEAN Commemoration thing, right? I finally got some of the pictures on my hand and I shall blog about it! ^^
When I first get to know there was this event, I didn’t want to go cuz I wasn’t sure whether I was free at that time. But Mia asked whether I wanna go cuz she heard some B-boys from Korea are going to be at the scene. I mean, DANCE WEI! Of course it caught my attention, so I decided to go with her, representing PSG from HELP University College. =P
On that day, we were required to dress “smart casual”… which we did. But everyone else representing other clubs and societies dressed really REALLY formal. We were like “o.O” when we saw them. We thought we were wearing “unacceptable” attires. =P
I think my shirt is swirling in the pictures…. right? =P
Let’s skip through the unnecessaries and go straight to the location - Renaissance Hotel in KL~ =P
The place was pretty cool, many representatives were there as well! We scouted around to check for familiar faces but there wasn’t any, until later of the day. xD. We were snapping pictures all about, but there were only a few that Shu Ling uploaded into Facebook. T.T. But that event was pretty cool. They had many Korea Traditional and cultural items, games, and introductions for us to learn more about Korea. I find it REALLY interesting. I wanna learn Korean. xD haha =P
The best thing of that day was the preview performance of BREAK OUT, an Extreme Comedy from a B-Boy group from Korea, it was fascinating, fantastically funny and breathtaking. They were selling 2 tickets for 1 price at the event. Jet and I grabbed them @ RM31.50! Mia was quite disappointed cuz she bought hers at RM63 =P
Alrite then! =P Time for pictures! ^^
Me - Mia - Korean Girl - Shu Ling - Suk Pei
An arrow-like item throwing game of Korea.. quite difficult you know…
My TICKET! =P
Jet who represents PSG as well =P We bought tickets together! =P
Pang! I was quite surprised he was there, too! Apparently, he was accompanying his girlfriend =P
Camwhoring while waiting for bus! Drawn on her arm is some Korea-art thingy.. I’m not sure what is it called XD
Lolx.. I forgotten the name of this game.. but its alittle bit similar to the “Aeroplane” (飞行棋), the one we have in Malaysia..
Finally! A picture of me! =P
A short story - BREAK OUT ROCKS!!! It was really REALLY nice! I really loved it! It was pretty short, and the plot (at some point) are rather senseless, but it had no doubt brought a big, wide smile onto my face. I really really enjoyed it and loved it ALOT! I hope more dance-related performances can be done and widely promoted in Malaysia… I don’t go for concerts.. but for dancing stuffs… I really would consider going! ^^ Haha… =P
Hello everybody! This is the promised post regarding the event I stated in the previous post!
We are FrequenC, a music group aiming to share music and singing talents to the wider public. We are having a concert on the coming Monday night (6th April 2009) at HELP’s Main Block Theatrette, from 7.30pm to 10.30pm.
This concert features various singers from HELP, and you may come even if you are not from HELP. Our whole intention is to share music and talents. ^^ This concert, SERIOUSLY, is going to be cool. We are going to provide you talents you probably least have expected. =)
Trust me, this is going to be damn fun and damn cool! ^^ Below is our poster, and after that, a preview of our concert. REALLY, if you wanna noe more about FrequenC, come to the concert. I assure you it will be one heck of an experience. =P
So… yeap! I know I had been MISSING for quite some time, but hey, I was busy ohkay… like.. for real. =P
Not like the other times I was missing I wasn’t really busy… just that, this time its REALLY REALLY busy. XD
Anyway… just some updates on myself before I move into the main business…
My PSY203 Child Development Psychology’s Midterm was quite astonishing, even to myself. I scored a 79/100, landing me second highest in class. But my PSY204 Adolescent Development Psychology was quite disappointing… only a 32/45… but there is another 55 marks more from Essay (which will be given back to us next week!) So I’m hoping to score high for that… hopefully. In addition, I’m involved in a FrequenC Concert that’s coming up on the 6th of April, 2009 in HELP University College! A detailed post will come very, very soon ^^ & also, I’m involved in a very large scale event as well! Looking forward to it! Will tell you guys more when it’s established! ^^
Anyway, Earth Hour 2009 just went by and well, nothing special. Moving on to the main dish for today!

ACGC 2009 was at 21st and 22nd March, 2009. I only went for the 21st, & I cosplayed as Shino. The whole day was fun and it was really cool to cosplay with a large group of people! Met alot of people on that day as well, new friends, old friends and many many cool people! ^^ (& weird people XD)
I finally understand how cosplayers felt when they get snapshot-ted by ALOT of people… maintaining the same pose for minutes. It is really tiring… XD But I somehow like the feel of being photographed while posing =) Especially we’re like a big, hugeNaruto cosplayers group. ^^ Not to mention there are some who tooks loads of pictures with us or of us on that day itself, some of them even got some of their own FANS =P
Anyway, here, I wanna ask if ANYONE took a picture of me during ACGC 2009, could you all send me the pictures please?? Whether its our group picture or my solo picture~ pwetty pwetty please? ^^ I thank you all for taking my pictures and (if you are sending them to me) sending me my pictures =) My email is on the side bar but just in case, vin_yungchien@hotmail.com =)

So.. yeah, you get the picture =P
Alrite, before I go into the topic in accordance to the title, I just wanna express my happiness… seeing how long I didn’t blog, I think I should give you guys a slight update on how is my life now =P Hahaha~!
PSY 208 Biopsychology’s Midterm results are out today!! I was so freaking afraid and worried kayz, cuz the tutor and the lecturer told us that more than half of the class failed and that not many did very well. I was damn scared. Finally today is the day the results were posted online. I checked it and I was totally overwhelmed! A great 26.40/30%. Out of 100 MCQs I got about 88 correct, landing me second highest in class. As usual, I’m guessing the 92/100 (27.6) would be Elaine. Hahaha =P But I’m damn satisfied dy. More motivation for me to ganbatte and keep it up with my university works =P

Yeap! And now lets go into some description of the tour guiding ^^
There were about 20 groups of 4-6 students from Japan’s Osaka High School, on a foreign-exchange program over here in Malaysia. Our job is to guide them through KL and as a Malaysian student, able to have some social-exchange with them. They were pre-briefed by their teachers about the different functions of different locations (e.g. Aquaria, KL Tower, Petaling Street, Times Square, etc.). They then chose their own location that they wanna go to. My group, Group 6, wanted to visit Times Square and Petaling Street.
They were suppose to arrive at KLCC by 2.30pm, but instead reached at 3pm. Ahhh, and we have to come back to this departure location by 7.50pm. We wouldn’t have enough time to visit EVERYTHING (especially those who had more locations to visit). Me and my group arrived at Times Square at about 3.40pm. It was later than the originally scheduled time, but we had some fun in TS. I took them around, eating ice kacang and bringing them to IT stores and accessory stores (as requested by them). Each of them bought two watches each, RM10 per watch, one bought a ‘couple-handphone’ accessory and one bought a wallet.
After that, we were slightly late to reach Pasar Seni LRT station, at about 6.05pm. However, it was raining very very heavily, even the idiom of “cats and dogs” is not enough to describe em… It was… “raining dragons and phoenixes”… or something. We couldn’t cross the road to go to Petaling Street. So I asked them if they wanna go over under the rain (cuz we all don’t have umbrellas), or should be take a stroll in KLCC instead? I warned them about the dangerousness of the road, cuz it was a really heavy rain, floor’s flooded and the cars are still driving by. They agreed to walk around KLCC instead, and my gawd, they bought like at least 2 boxes of chocolates each, one even got FOUR and one bought pineapple tarts! My group of people really came empty-handed and go fully-equipped. XD
After that, we had dinner at the food court of KLCC. Three of them ordered some Herbal Mihun Soup, one ordered Penang Fried Rice while the other ordered Penang Har Mee (Prawn Mee). It seems to me that the one eating the prawn mee thinks that its awfully spicy… awfully awfully spicy. XD Hahaha, I even had to ask him whether he is fine =P But I believe those are good Malaysia experiences ^^ Here’s the funny part, the time of my phone ain’t 7.50pm yet, but I receive a call asking me to get back ASAP cuz its 7.55pm dy. BUT, two of my ‘tour-ees’ ordered Waffles and they just came! They were rushing like OMG! I have to apologize to them for my time management T.T But I still AM gonna blame my clock =P
So yeah, all in all, I love my tourguiding job and I like my first experience tour guiding the japanese students, they are all very very fun people! And I believe in that tour, they had experienced a HUUUGEEE portion of Malaysians’ life. Such as LRT, weather, public transport, traffic and shopping complexes =P
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On to the pictures!
This is Xiao Yen and me before we departed for KLCC to meet the Japanese students ^^
Daisuke-san is a very thin guy. He is very funny. When I asked them what do they want to eat for dinner, another guy said, “Yakiniku” (Burnt/Roasted meats). He then looked at me and pointed at that guy, saying, “He is Crazy”. hahaha! We all were laughing in the LRT and everyone was looking at us. XD
Keiha-san seems to have a good body figure and is very curious about things. He asked me which cookies are famous and he bought pineapples tarts AND chocolates. He was the one who bought the ‘couple-handphone’ accessory, too. ^^
Keita-san is the tallest among all. He is very quiet and talks very little. He is the guy who bought a wallet from Times Squares, and I think he loves accessories, like bracelets and rings, etc. He is almost always last to enter the LRT. XD
Ken-san is the leader of Group 6. He can speak more English than the rest, and acts as a translator to us all, even though I can speak a little Japanese. He and I had emailed each other several times =) Probably due to language barrier, messages from the others are conveyed through his emails, as well. =)
Shouichi-san is the shortest of the group, and probably the loudest. He is also the one who responded with Yakiniku when I asked what to eat for dinner. Besides that, he is also the one who bought FOUR boxes of chocolates. XD
A group picture! Actually we took one BEFORE we went for the tour, but its with their camera =P
Extra note: They are all 17 year-old and don’t know other languages (except Ken-san). And, they are all runners! =P So damn cool ^^
IF you are wondering how we communicated, I used Japanese to ASK, while Ken-san used English to ANSWER. =) Due to the fact that only I know Japanese Language among thetour guides, I think I had the most fun and conversation with my tour-ees! ^^ I think I RAWKED =P
So that’s all for the post today. I’m exhausted. I have decided to not just blog about anything under the sun (or that I have pictures on). Instead, I’m just gonna blog about things I wanna blog. =)
I am sure you people have had Halloweens which were:
Party-Nightly
Outrageously Noisy
Creepily-Filled-With-Random-People-You-Don’t-Know
and Included:
Loud Sounds
Blasts of Music
Horrible Moods(Or so)
This time. It will be different. Nuffnang and Nokia brought us this: Silent Halloween!
As the name implies, this Halloween party will be “more or less” “Silent”.The party will be conducted through handphones and headsets that is loaded with musics and songs! Only invited people get these, and for people who know me, this is why this post exist-lah~! =D
What more, it is also a social event for Bloggers of Nuffnang (and their friends) to meet new people and make new friends! Whoa, for the weirdest reason, I’m beginning to imagine myself enjoying the party. But that is not the point. I’m actually posting this to tell you guys.. WHYNokiaXpress Music had made Halloween better.
Firstly, MUSIC. Well, due to the fact that I have not been to ANY Halloween events before, I shall say how NokiaXpress Music enhance my first experience. Music is like a must for my life. I sing and I dance (for people who know me, you should know~). So yeah, it surely will enhance my first (sorta)Halloween Party, more so I’m really a party-animal, I gethigh on good musics. =P
Look at how high I am!! =P (far right)
Secondly, it kinda enhances my identity. Well, imagine if I dress up as something red…. like a bloody……..er….thing. And I’m holding a red Nokia. I can imagine ppl thinking, “Whoa….. so red” Hahaha =P But really, it will be another matching item for my dressup! So, its the “cool” factor-lah.. in a way.. XD
What’s third? A SILENT HALLOWEEN. Hello?Who organized this event? Nokia. What is the item of the event?NokiaXpress Music. Holy-moo, that TOTALLY super-duperly definite that it will enhance my first Halloween experience. I mean, yo! I get to go to a cool event with a bunch of cool crowd and I stand chances to win COOL phones wei. Need I say more? =P *wink*
You See These Cool Things? =P
Last but not least, outstandingness. I mean, look, Nokia XpressMusic’s theCOOL Factor, while, I am the CUTE/HANDSOME/FASCINATING Factor. The addition/multiplication/combination of the 2 factors? OUTSTANDING. Come on. I know you agree. =P
The Shoutmix is getting a lot of spams lately...
I’m getting annoyed by it.
I removed the chatbox, and so the only way to leave a message on this blog would be by commenting then. =)
Thanks!
