Pardon My Major Hiatus
But my busyness is SLIGHTLY beyond comparison.
I couldn’t bring myself to go and watermark my photos…
I wouldn’t use the photos if they aren’t watermarked…
and I won’t blog without photos.
So.. yeah, you get the picture =P
Alrite, before I go into the topic in accordance to the title, I just wanna express my happiness… seeing how long I didn’t blog, I think I should give you guys a slight update on how is my life now =P Hahaha~!
PSY 208 Biopsychology’s Midterm results are out today!! I was so freaking afraid and worried kayz, cuz the tutor and the lecturer told us that more than half of the class failed and that not many did very well. I was damn scared. Finally today is the day the results were posted online. I checked it and I was totally overwhelmed! A great 26.40/30%. Out of 100 MCQs I got about 88 correct, landing me second highest in class. As usual, I’m guessing the 92/100 (27.6) would be Elaine. Hahaha =P But I’m damn satisfied dy. More motivation for me to ganbatte and keep it up with my university works =P

Yeap! And now lets go into some description of the tour guiding ^^
There were about 20 groups of 4-6 students from Japan’s Osaka High School, on a foreign-exchange program over here in Malaysia. Our job is to guide them through KL and as a Malaysian student, able to have some social-exchange with them. They were pre-briefed by their teachers about the different functions of different locations (e.g. Aquaria, KL Tower, Petaling Street, Times Square, etc.). They then chose their own location that they wanna go to. My group, Group 6, wanted to visit Times Square and Petaling Street.
They were suppose to arrive at KLCC by 2.30pm, but instead reached at 3pm. Ahhh, and we have to come back to this departure location by 7.50pm. We wouldn’t have enough time to visit EVERYTHING (especially those who had more locations to visit). Me and my group arrived at Times Square at about 3.40pm. It was later than the originally scheduled time, but we had some fun in TS. I took them around, eating ice kacang and bringing them to IT stores and accessory stores (as requested by them). Each of them bought two watches each, RM10 per watch, one bought a ‘couple-handphone’ accessory and one bought a wallet.
After that, we were slightly late to reach Pasar Seni LRT station, at about 6.05pm. However, it was raining very very heavily, even the idiom of “cats and dogs” is not enough to describe em… It was… “raining dragons and phoenixes”… or something. We couldn’t cross the road to go to Petaling Street. So I asked them if they wanna go over under the rain (cuz we all don’t have umbrellas), or should be take a stroll in KLCC instead? I warned them about the dangerousness of the road, cuz it was a really heavy rain, floor’s flooded and the cars are still driving by. They agreed to walk around KLCC instead, and my gawd, they bought like at least 2 boxes of chocolates each, one even got FOUR and one bought pineapple tarts! My group of people really came empty-handed and go fully-equipped. XD
After that, we had dinner at the food court of KLCC. Three of them ordered some Herbal Mihun Soup, one ordered Penang Fried Rice while the other ordered Penang Har Mee (Prawn Mee). It seems to me that the one eating the prawn mee thinks that its awfully spicy… awfully awfully spicy. XD Hahaha, I even had to ask him whether he is fine =P But I believe those are good Malaysia experiences ^^ Here’s the funny part, the time of my phone ain’t 7.50pm yet, but I receive a call asking me to get back ASAP cuz its 7.55pm dy. BUT, two of my ‘tour-ees’ ordered Waffles and they just came! They were rushing like OMG! I have to apologize to them for my time management T.T But I still AM gonna blame my clock =P
So yeah, all in all, I love my tourguiding job and I like my first experience tour guiding the japanese students, they are all very very fun people! And I believe in that tour, they had experienced a HUUUGEEE portion of Malaysians’ life. Such as LRT, weather, public transport, traffic and shopping complexes =P

On to the pictures!
This is Xiao Yen and me before we departed for KLCC to meet the Japanese students ^^
Daisuke-san is a very thin guy. He is very funny. When I asked them what do they want to eat for dinner, another guy said, “Yakiniku” (Burnt/Roasted meats). He then looked at me and pointed at that guy, saying, “He is Crazy”. hahaha! We all were laughing in the LRT and everyone was looking at us. XD
Keiha-san seems to have a good body figure and is very curious about things. He asked me which cookies are famous and he bought pineapples tarts AND chocolates. He was the one who bought the ‘couple-handphone’ accessory, too. ^^
Keita-san is the tallest among all. He is very quiet and talks very little. He is the guy who bought a wallet from Times Squares, and I think he loves accessories, like bracelets and rings, etc. He is almost always last to enter the LRT. XD
Ken-san is the leader of Group 6. He can speak more English than the rest, and acts as a translator to us all, even though I can speak a little Japanese. He and I had emailed each other several times =) Probably due to language barrier, messages from the others are conveyed through his emails, as well. =)
Shouichi-san is the shortest of the group, and probably the loudest. He is also the one who responded with Yakiniku when I asked what to eat for dinner. Besides that, he is also the one who bought FOUR boxes of chocolates. XD
A group picture! Actually we took one BEFORE we went for the tour, but its with their camera =P
Extra note: They are all 17 year-old and don’t know other languages (except Ken-san). And, they are all runners! =P So damn cool ^^
IF you are wondering how we communicated, I used Japanese to ASK, while Ken-san used English to ANSWER. =) Due to the fact that only I know Japanese Language among thetour guides, I think I had the most fun and conversation with my tour-ees! ^^ I think I RAWKED =P
So that’s all for the post today. I’m exhausted. I have decided to not just blog about anything under the sun (or that I have pictures on). Instead, I’m just gonna blog about things I wanna blog. =)
Taz~
