First month, January, was a fun month. Many things happened and Many things done. February is tomorrow, and I have several more things to talk about, regarding things that happened in the month of January. After this, there will be one (or two) more posts about Chinese New Year and we’re done with this month. =)
I looked forward to 2009 , yet it is abit not-so-excited for me. I believe 2009 will be the year I start anew, so hurray for me. I have lost 9kg. I’m not sure if I have lost more, or gained some (it is CNY after all!). I had gathered and met up with many of my highschool frens, it was really fun! =) I’m looking forward to more successful and happy stories about myself in the coming months.
Alright, on with the ‘reports’. First I wanna talk about Renai Rider! Well… I came across this video about Buono! (a japanese girl-group) singing and dancing to the song Renai Rider. I showed it to Seok Mei and instantly she wanna try replicating a video on it. Originally, it was Seok, me and Han Sheng. But HanSheng FFK-ed us last minute (means he pulled out last minute, due to some reasons…) we had Wenli replace HanSheng. She only had 4 hours to learn it so be glad the video is even done! The video’s purpose is for entertainment and fun! If you all laughed, smiled or are even entertained very much by our video, we’re happy for you ^^

I have been losing weight in the past 3 weeks… which I deem as DRASTIC. I lost 9kg in 3 weeks wei!
I did NOT skip meals
I did NOT work out
I did NOT take medications
I am NOT stressed
On the Other Hand
I merely ate more vegetables, less meat, less rice and try not to over-bloat myself
I merely danced a LITTLE bit more
I merely did a little exercise by taking stairs up and down instead of using the lift to get to my parking lot (only around 3 levels, 3 sets of stairs; if I go G floor, at most 6 levels)
But my weight went down from 90kg to 81kg. Hmmm, I think its abit too drastic, not? Of course I’d hope to slim down, but not in a bad manner… Hopefully my weight loss is going down healthily and stops at 75kg, which is where I deem as.. appropriate for me~ =)

Alright! Its finally down to this! I have three more things to update about and I will FINALLY catch up to whatever is the latest! =P
First would be my the first meeting of my semester in 2009 - PSG Committee Meeting. It was to set the agenda for the remaining of the semester, what we gonna do, what we have to do, when we do it and how we do it, etc. But you see, I saw Evie’s shades on the table and I just had to do this.
To Camwhore with it. It is pretty nice, the shades are for girls, though. XD
Meanwhile, SekHee decided to take a picture with me~! I think I look kinda good here =P

I’m going to show you guys two of the three new top I bought for CNY! Firstly, is my longsleeve!
I will ALWAYS buy a longsleeve every year, cuz I personally love long sleeves. I was quite frustrated cuz I couldn’t find any long sleeve to my liking, while I was on the CNY Shopping Spree with JingGuo at Sunway Pyramid. When I stepped into PARKSON (or was it JUSCO) of Pyramid, I saw this wonderful colored (or so I think) long sleeve t-shirt there! Immediately I tried it on, loved it and bought it! =P
But that’s not all. My color theme of last year was PURPLE, so you might have seen me in purple for a bit. But this year, I decided to go Blue and Green. My long sleeve is blue, and for my short sleeve t-shirt….
Got it from Hang Ten. They sell pretty decent clothes there. And kinda cheap, too!
Well, in the end I bought 3 top, 2 jeans, 1 cargo pants, a pair of canvas shoes and a vest. My CNY Shopping is COMPLETE! =)

A week ago, Chinese Cultural Society of HELP University College had organized a 新春晚会, which can be literally translated into “New Spring Night Party”, but I’m just gonna call it Pre-CNY Party. Mia, Shuling and I were invited to perform for the party…
If anyone of you began thinking that I was gonna dance… you’re WRONG! XD Well… we sang. And for those who just exclaimed in your mind/brain/soul/out loud: yungchien SINGS? The answer is: Yes, I SING. =P I probably just don’t sing GOOD. =P
Anyway, we performed two songs, one is 梁静茹 - 小手拉大手 Jasmine Leong’s “Small Hand Pull Big Hand” (literally translated) and the other one is 小虎队 - 新年快乐 Xiao Hu Dui’s “Happy New Year”. We screwed up big time for the first song XD Shuling and I forgotten lyrics, and I went out of tune at one part of the song, I deem that as HORRENDOUS. But well, I think major problem is me lah… I’m not good at it XD
The second song was nice. The people like the second one better, too, cuz it sounded better than the first (that’s what they said). So yea, it was after all a good experience! =P We were supposed to perform three songs, with the third song being a closing ceremony song, My Astro群星合唱 - 庆祝 MyAstro Allstars “Celebrate”. But due to some problem and mistakes on the DJ’s part, it was cancelled. Oh well~ =P
The best performance of the night was DEFINITELY the Chinese Yoyo 扯铃. It was SO COOL! Out of the 11 performers, only 3 of them are professionals (students who practice the chinese yoyo at national level), while the others only had slightly more than a week to practice them for the performance! They all did well!!! The National Players manage to make our mouths open wide with they magnificent performance! It was marvelous! =)

Alright, I got a little bit impatient and decided to spam all the updates into one. But thankfully, not many pictures =)
First is my outing with Chee Meng! He came down from Ipoh for some works/errands, and we met up! It’s one KL-ian and 3 Ipoh-ians =P
We had lunch and had fun chit-chatting, catching up with each other! Our lunch + pictures were all taken at Prince Cafe in SS2. =P
Next is the update about New Year Eve party! We had a party on the 31st of December 2008 at Huixin’s place! We had fun!
The most ridiculous thing we did was… we went to the cyber cafe, Blitzone, at 2am on the 1st of January 2009, until 7.00am in the morning XD Blargh =P

Anyway, a little bit more updates would be my outing with SeokMei, Charles, Weng Yu and Jo Seen! There was a special appearance of Wenli, too! The pictures are on Facebook and I’m kinda lazy to grab it down and photoshop them. So don’t mind me just using WORDS =P
I met up with Charles in the evening, which after he went to pick up Wengyu, then went over to Seok’s place to wait for JoSeen to arrive. Before that, when we were leaving to fetch Wengyu, something hillarious happened between me and charles, and our conversation is, more or less, like this:
Me: *look at Charles’ attire head to toe* Er… your gonna wear like this?
Charles: *look at himself* Yaaa…. what’s wrong?
Me: Erm.. we’re going to Solaris and your gonna wear t-shirt, shorts and sandals? *sweats*
Charles: Erm… why….?? Is that place so highclass ah?
Me: Erm… well, quite… just that, you know ppl don’t really wear like that to Solaris…. you sure ahh?
Charles: errrr… ohkay, I go change.
Then he came down with t-shirt, long pants and snickers. So that’s fine.
Well, the rest were similar. Wengyu wore something casual… and SeokMei changed into a dress to fit the group. Jo Seen dressed Semi-casually so it was fine. We dined at some thai-looking restaurant in Mont Kiara. The food there is not so nice… and small in portion. The taste is just… SLIGHTLY lacking. But oh well, we ate and it was over and done with.
Then, we went over to SS2’s KTZ to eat Shaved Ice! It is so NICE! Next time must bring my other friends there! =P And that’s when we met Wenli! She came and gave us a surprise and well, it was surprising! Glad to meet back all my long-time-no-see friends, it’s really very nice and fun!
Oh well, it was a fun day ^^ And then comes an end to the blogpost, and also the 2008 entries. Hopefully I didn’t miss out anything!

I shall begin the OFFICIAL 2009 entry with a warning and reminder to all my friends and readers of my blog. Do beware and pay attention to your wallets, handphones and valuable belongings. Keep an eye of your surroundings, too, AT ALL TIMES. I went to Sing K at Sg. Wang today and a friend’s handphone got stolen. Man, I feel bad for him too…. It’s deep empathy. Sorry man, take care and ganbatte! It is probably a sign for you to change a new phone/get a free phone soon. =)

Alright! The final part of Prom! This part starts from where I left off!
The performance right after was Mia’s solo singing performance, but I can’t get a picture of it! So… yah! Sorry Mia! XD This post has around 34 pictures, so get ready! =P

They said my expressions was so …expressed. XD hahaha =P
Ms. Anasuya took over the stage right after. She was SO GREAT! Her voice is SO powerful I could hear it from the changing room! Her voice is strong and really, I LOVED her performance!

There were some games and all right after, and next was the Crowning session for the prom Kings and Queens. The award was seperated into three sections, year 1 , year 2 and year 3.
The Year 1’s award is known as Prince and Princess, won by Chia Wei & Ashley.
They were suppose to state the things they can do to make the world better XD
The Year 2’s award - Duke and Duchess, were won by Elaine and I~ *yay* =P
Finally, Daniel and Natalie won the Year 3 award - Mr. Enchanted & Ms. Enchanted.

This part features the first half of the Prom that was held at Sime Darby Convention centre for Bpsych students & lecturers alike! It was really fun!
A few of us performers and committees arrived early at the venue to prepare/practice and had a final rehearsal for the performances. The place was pretty awesome! It was soon flooded with people! It was a blast. Saw my friends all dressed up, smart, handsome, pretty and flamboyant. Totally amazing sight. Though I was pretty nervous with my upcoming performances. Alright, off with my rantings. Be prepared to feast your eyes upon TWENTY-THREE (23) pictures I took from my friends (and my own handphone).

We kick it off with a slow WALTZ by Huafu, Xinyu, Fabio and Moon.

Followed by a fast-going, cheerful JIVE by BengTack, YeeLing, me and ShuLing.
Immediately after that, a passionate RHUMBA by Daniel and Natalie!
We bring the opening to a closure by having a fun group CHA CHA CHA by all the dancers from before (and some extra committees~)

Right after that, Kok Wui came out to say a few words, and being part of the Choir (for me, Natalie, Daniel and Shu Ling), we were already positioning ourselves for the next performance!

Not long after, we have our dinner! It was awesome. There were all kinds of meat, vegies and sorts. They’re probably not the best~ but hey! It was really good =D
Soon after, Mr Franklin, with Piano played by OonYow, were to singing some songs.
He even dragged a couple of staffs and lecturers to sing some Christmas Carols with him.
Mr Kenneth’s harmonizing is POWERFUL =)
Not to forget! We have SHAWN! He is damn good. I enjoyed the whole beatbox performance he gave, I felt like dancing!!! XD
Then we have the HELP’s Street Boys, or something along those lines. They consists of Dr. Albert, Dr. Goh, Mr. Gerrard & Justin. They were good! They sang us three songs, it was so thrilling! =P
With the Street Boys’ last song - La Bamba, we couldn’t help but dominate the dance floor with Agogo dances and funny twists and shakes! =P
